MetroWest is well known in the area due to its high visibility and distinctive “N” design. Floor plates range from 17,000 to 23,000 square feet, and most floors feature four exterior balconies. MetroWest was designed by German-American architect Helmut Jahn, who designed the building featuring a distinctive slanting exterior that trails diagonally from left to right, forming an “N.”

While the exterior design was originally incorporated to support a series of terraces on the building’s facade, the “N-shaped” appearance has gained the building a reputation as the city of Naperville’s unofficial insignia. The building also features a large, two-story lobby featuring plentiful natural light as a result of nearly floor-to-ceiling windows, and recent cosmetic upgrades have updated the lobby experience with polished steel finishes.

MetroWest is located adjacent to the south side of Interstate 88 at the northwest corner of Washington Street and Shuman Boulevard. The property is conveniently positioned between two 4-way interchanges, each approximately one mile from the property.

I-88 is the major expressway connecting the western suburbs of Chicago with downtown Chicago. Numerous major corporate facilities are located nearby including BP Amoco, Alcatel-Lucent, BMO Harris, Tellabs, and Navistar.

There are numerous retail and hotel amenities within the immediate area along I-88 as well as the thriving commercial district of downtown Naperville located less than three miles south of the property.
